Early detection of neurological conditions, such as elevated Intracranial Pressure (ICP), Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), stroke, and Alzheimer’s, can generate substantial healthcare savings by preventing costly long-term care and improving patient outcomes. Early detection of abnormal ICP can save $165.6 to $496.8 billion globally by reducing the severity of TBI care needs. Stroke prevention through early detection offers additional savings of $75 to $100 billion. Combined, improved early detection technologies for neurological conditions could result in annual healthcare savings of up to $650B.
